Directions and Maps
We have a new venue! Where is Get Golden? Get Golden is being held at Island Park Campground, by Pine Flat Reservoir, south-east of Yosemite National Park, California. This is about an hour and 15 minutes drive from Bass Lake, and 2.5 hours from Curry Village, Yosemite. We will be car pooling from Santa Clara, in the Bay Area, so this is where you need to get to (see below for directions/maps). We are staying at Group Site 2, called Buckeye. Why the change?
Mainly because it is an area of such outstanding natural beauty, and also the Crane Valley campsite was fully booked! Directions Directions to the Island Park Campsite. Maps This map shows the drive we'll be doing on Friday (maybe one car on Saturday) from Santa Clara in the Bay Area to the Sierra National Forest. It should take 3-4 hours. Click on the map to view the Google Maps Directions.
