Update: Yosemite Floods

I saw on the news on Monday that Yosemite valley was flooded!! Turns out the warm weather and snow I was raving about combined to cause the Merced river to rise about 5ft, causing camp sites to be evacuated and roads to be closed. The waters subsided on Tuesday and the park is now re-open again. I called up Bass Lake and the region where we are camping (which is about an hour from Yosemite) was not affected. So, not to worry.

Yosemite Weather

The current weather in Yosemite National Park (note that after 2pm, the low temperature is displayed):

Forecast: Looks like it's going to be Mostly Sunny and high-60s over the weekend. There may be some showers on Sunday so bring a raincoat! This obviously varies greatly based on altitude. You'll want layered clothing suitable for both warm and cool weather.
