Camping Details

Crane Valley Campsite

We will be camping at a group camp site Crane Valley Camp Site near Bass Lake, Sierra National Forest, California.

Tents, Sleeping Bags, etc.

We are renting 5 9-person tents and providing cooking equipment (all included in the price). You will have to bring your own sleeping bag though. If you have your own tent, it would be great if you could bring it (and let us know ASAP!) This will give us more money for food, etc.

Current tent situation

With 74 people attending this event, we currently have the following tent capacity:

We still need more tents!! Please let us know if you can bring one.

Facilities

Elevation	3,400'
Setting	Adjacent to Bass Lake. Area has dense pine, oak and cedar trees. Sites have good shade.
Directions	Take Hwy 41 north from Fresno; continue through Oakhurst to Road 222. Turn right on Road 222, travel east 3 miles and turn right (Road 222), continue for 3/10 of a mile and bear right again. Travel 4/10 of a mile around the south side of the Lake to the Crane Valley Group Campsite.
Road Access	Paved, dirt in campground.
Total Campsites	7 (we have 3 of them, two of which can take 30 of you fine people and one which can take 12)
Water	Yes, 200 Yds. East Of Campground. Drinkable.
Restrooms	Yes
Tables	Yes
Stoves	Grill
Public Phone	Yes, 200 Yds. East Of Campground
Gasoline	4mi Away At Village Of Bass (probably damn expensive!)
Special	Facilities are not handicap accessible.
Rules	Litter must be placed in bear-proof trash recepticles Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am.

From: Berlin, Germany

Nico used to be responsible until he discovered alcohol. Now he enjoys teaching impressionable young Brits how to say silly things in German that would probably get them arrested in airports. Instantly (thinks he's) good at any sport he tries, watch out for him swinging golf clubs around wildly in the middle of the night in a forest somewhere in California.
